Now in 2017, and 23 years after, the video game series that was started with The Need For Speed is still in perfect health conditions and is back to top the rankings with NFS Payback, with the intention of being one of the best car racing games in the world, available for both PC and PS4 and Xbox. None at this time or use either the Generic Fix (recommended) or ReShade.It's been a long while since the first installment of Need For Speed was released back in 1994, a game that was published for the extinct 3DO console, as well as for PC, being one of the first games to require a Pentium processor to be able to make the most of its features. I don't understand what could be the problem as the Generic Fix uses dinput8.dll while Reshade uses D3D9.dll. I tried standalone versions of SweetFX but they also crash or just refuse to work. Not a biggie but I like to use ReShade as I use it in many games but the game crashes on launch when using them both. Problem: Game won't launch when using Generic Fix and ReShade together dll's are copied into the gamefolder I have proper soundvolume now. Maybe just a Windows 10 problem or something related to my hardware (Creative Audigy RX) and not a very serious problem but when I choose Surround in the soundoptions I have to significantly increase the volume. Problem: Low soundvolume when using surround With v-sync enabled my gameplay experience was significantly improved, so I'd like to hear what anyone else has to say about it. You can then use Borderless Gaming to run the game at fullscreen at your desired resolution. What I have done is using the NFS Pro Street Generic Fix and use windowed mode. I think I have remedied this issue though. I think the gamedevelopers already had this issue and probably tried to make it less noticable to lock the framerate to 30fps in the version 1.1 patch. So once more people witness the issue in question is solved the page editor can decide to include it.Ī severe gameplay problem are the constant framerate drops this game is having even on high end machines. I want to do this as a sanity check because in the past I would enthausiastically jump the gun when I seemingly solved an issue when on a more thourough view nothing was solved at all. I'm making this article to inventorize any issues not adressed or unsolved.
